Students participating in out Jazz Artists in the Schools and Community program refine their skills as musicians and develop skills in jazz appreciation through intensive interactions with active performers/clinicians who work directly in the schools with student musicians and their instructors. The program has supported vocal jazz coaching, high school band festival clinics, presentations to general student groups, and individually tailored clinics in selected schools.
